DeviceStamp Bangladesh – Driving DPP Readiness, Appoints Mr. Nazrul as National Partner & Country Director

DeviceStamp is establishing its presence in Bangladesh to support the garments industry in transitioning toward Digital Product Passport (DPP) compliance for the European Union.

As one of the world’s largest apparel sourcing hubs, Bangladesh requires scalable and practical solutions to meet upcoming ESPR regulatory requirements. DeviceStamp addresses this through its DPP Gateway, enabling suppliers to connect once and deliver data to multiple DPP systems and client requirements through a unified interface.

Now DeviceStamp is building a localized presence in Dhaka, enabling direct engagement with manufacturers, buying houses, and key industry stakeholders for practical implementation and training.

With strong association relationships, a vendor-neutral infrastructure, and close alignment with the industry, DeviceStamp is positioned to support the garments ecosystem in Bangladesh. This allows for a coordinated and structured approach to DPP readiness across manufacturers.

The goal is clear: to enable export-oriented garment factories in Bangladesh to transition smoothly into DPP compliance through a unified, scalable, and industry-aligned approach supporting industry-wide deployment of supplier-side DPP infrastructure through the DeviceStamp Gateway.

As a continuous step in this direction, DeviceStamp appoints Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam, a highly respected industry figure with deep-rooted connections across the garments ecosystem as National Partner & Country Director.

With more than 20 years of experience in apparel export, sourcing, and manufacturing coordination, Mr. Nazrul founded Koala Fashion & Design in 2007 – an export-oriented apparel sourcing and production company.

He served as Chairman of the Election Board (2026–2028 election) of the Bangladesh Garments Buying House Association (BGBA), where he successfully led and concluded a critical national election process, gaining strong recognition across the garment trading and sourcing community in Bangladesh. He is also a member of the BGMEA (Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association), and in addition he has served as Co-Chairman of the Arbitration Board for International Trade Dispute Resolution.

This level of industry trust provides DeviceStamp with a unique advantage: the ability to reach and engage a large portion of Bangladesh’s export-oriented manufacturers in a structured and credible manner.

Mr. Nazrul’s appointment as National Partner & Country Director marks a significant milestone in DeviceStamp’s global expansion and reinforces our commitment to practical, on-the-ground DPP readiness in one of the world’s most important apparel sourcing hubs.

"I am honored to accept this appointment and support Bangladesh’s transition toward technical and data readiness for DPP requirements. This is an important journey for our garment industry, and it can only succeed through close cooperation with manufacturers, associations, buying houses, and industry stakeholders across Bangladesh. With DeviceStamp, we can help simplify the transition, support practical implementation on the ground, and ensure that supplier-side realities are properly aligned with evolving EU market expectations. I look forward to working together to help Bangladesh remain strong, competitive, and ready for the future."

Says Mr. Nazrul, the newly appointed National Partner & Country Director.

"This appointment marks an important step in DeviceStamp’s Bangladesh rollout. Bangladesh is central to the global apparel supply chain, and DPP readiness must be built where the data is created: inside the supplier ecosystem. With Mr. Nazrul’s industry experience and local network, we can support manufacturers in preparing for EU requirements through practical, supplier-side engagement on the ground. The goal is clear: to help suppliers become ready for upcoming EU regulation and continue accessing this important market."
